Aural Garnet Cluster
The iridescence and spectral change that occurs within this glass dodecahedron sculpture is spectacular. Dichroic glass allows light to reflect one color and refract another. The glass also acts like a lens bending the spectrum and increasing the colors that are visible.
2 polished windows allow a view inside that shows an inverted reflection of the negative space from within.
Made of cast glass in the hydroelectric powered studio of Jeremy sinkus in western Massachusetts
