Bright hot red, oranges and yellow illuminate this garnet and quartz specimen sculpture. Sculpted by hand from wax and then a series of mold making steps similar to making a bronze sculpted. Then cast in solid glass in kilns powered by the river outside the studio. The magic of dichroic glass illuminates and colors the piece from within.
